Embark on new ground.
Well, it's the beginning of a new year...The proverbial 'time to reflect' on what has happened in the past year or years and look ahead to the future year and what it has in store for each of us. For Bauxo, as it now has grown into a life of it's own, we have experienced many changes over the years. We have passed through the ups and downs and have realized through it all that our strength is in our foundation. Our principles and what we created from the beginning is the glue that holds us together. It is the passion that started the business that is what carries us through the challenges. We are so grateful for the opportunities that this business has created for us and are so thankful that our customers and their customers have shared in our passion.
This year will be about grounding ourselves. Grounding ourselves to where we began. In all aspects of life, we are pulled and pushed in many directions. Whether it is by our peers, our business, our customers, our family, or by ourselves, but the real strength is standing behind what you believe; really finding that passion and fire within and staying with that until the end. And although you may bend a little in the wind, you return back to your position and stand strong. This year is also about embarking on something new. Creating. Being inspired by the natural world around us and the fascinating things and people that are encompassed within it. It is about finding the new in the old and creating something special from the ordinary.
And this is what Bauxo is all about and here we go, 2011, we are embarking on new ground!! We are excited for the opportunity to present another Bauxo collection for Spring 2011 and our hopes and goals for this coming year leave me feeling inspired and giddy inside.
